job summary: We’re searching for a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in designing and testing electrical power and control systems for gas turbine auxiliary and process equipment. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to review system specifications, define product functional requirements, select components, and create the necessary technical documentation for product assembly and customer deliverables.

Orlando, Florida job type: Permanent salary: $80,000 – 90,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Responsible for technical decisions related to the electrical portion of the product designManage the documenting of design decisions throughout developmentsGenerate wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, Bills of Materials, SAMA logic diagrams, electrical installation diagrams, and testing procedures based on customer specifications, P&IDs, and General Arrangement drawingsRespond to the needs of clients and vendors Required Skills/Knowledge Proficiency with AutoCad and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of industrial-grade electrical components, including: switchgear, control gear, motor controllers, drives, power supplies, programmable controllers, push buttons, relays, timersKnowledge of UL and NEC standards generally, but specifically UL508A, NFPA70, and FM standards related to industrial control panel design, electrical installations, fire systems, communications, heat tracing, and hazardous environmentsKnowledge of IEC and ATEX standards is a plusProficiency with SiemensNX is a plus Experience 2 years of prior relevant experienceExperience with generating wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, Bills of Materials, SAMA logic diagrams, electrical installation diagrams, and testing procedures based on customer specifications, P&IDs, and General Arrangement drawingsExperience with 600V and below power and control circuit design, including sizing circuit protection and wiring and developing control logicExperience with PLC ladder logic and HMI design, particularly with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and GE componentsDesign of skidded equipment is a plusPE license is a plus Benefits 401KMedical PlanHealtehr Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsHealth Care Savings AccountDental PlanLife Insurance PlanShort and Long-Term Disability PlansPTO #LI-TM1 qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 2 years of experience
