26350 ? ? Summary Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunityfor a Plant Electrical Engineer supporting our Plant EngineeringFacility Team. This team leads the implementation of capitalprojects and is responsible for planning, executing, andmaintaining plant-wide infrastructure, as well as providingtechnical support for building and maintenance operations. As aPlant Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting andexecuting projects across our manufacturing facilities in theCleveland and Mentor areas. Your focus will be on identifying andsolving technical challenges while ensuring that all equipment andprocesses align with the organization’s safety, health, quality,and productivity standards. What You Will Do Collaborate in a team environment to executecapital projects for manufacturing facilities in the Cleveland andMentor areas. Take responsibility for the electrical aspects ofprojects, which may include design, documentation, equipmentinstallation, project management, and support. Develop engineeringsolutions to improve equipment reliability and safety, reduceoperating and maintenance costs, and effectively manage outagerisks. Create and maintain sustainable documentation for use byengineering and maintenance teams. Design solutions that complywith ISO 14001 and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)initiatives to enhance environmental and employee health and safetystandards. Provide capital cost estimates and establish projecttimelines to ensure successful completion of project work. Reviewequipment quotations to confirm compliance with desiredspecifications. Deliver technical support to the Production andMaintenance departments. Coordinate and interface with engineering,production, maintenance, and procurement teams. Work closely withand often manage outside engineering and construction personnel.
Ensure all safety, health, environmental, and compliancerequirements adhere to the appropriate regulations. Performadditional responsibilities as assigned by managers within thePlant Engineering department. Education & Experience RequirementsFor level
II:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with aminimum of 3 years of experience. For level
III:
Bachelor’s degreein Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Strong desire to take ownership of tasks and deliver results.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Demonstrates good judgment, self-motivation, and a commitment tosafety. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workeffectively, and meet deadlines. Flexibility to handle diverseassignments and adapt to changing priorities. Capability to performhands-on work when needed and work collaboratively on the shopfloor with employees and processes. Knowledge of
NEC, NFPA, 70E,NFPA
79, and other technical codes. Experience with 2D CADmodeling; familiarity with AutoCAD/Vault is preferred.
