- Acquire a working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and national engineering standards
- Provide assistance with storm damage assessments to OH and UG distribution structures and equipment for areas in and out of state
- Take measurements on utility poles and mid-span facilities, perform pole inspections, inspect, and perform maintenance on pad-mount equipment
- Perform field technical services for the operation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical distribution systems
