Overview and ObjectiveClient requires one: (1) Expert Controls Engineer for an 8-monthengagement to support Beckhoff TwinCAT PLC systems in a 24/7medically regulated facility.
Focus:
investigation, development,and testing of PLC programs, EtherCAT diagnostics, safety systemintegration/messaging, and specification monitoring defeatanalysis. High-quality documentation and adherence tocGMP/regulatory standards are critical. 2. Scope of Work (1Controls Engineer)
TwinCAT Program Enhancement:
Investigate,design, develop, test, and validate PLC code (TwinCAT, EtherCAT).May also need Siemens experience for specific module optimization.
Hardware Diagnostics:
Implement/improve EtherCAT diagnostics, HMImessaging, and logging.
Safety Systems:
Enhance/test safety signallogic, failure messaging; ensure compliance with relevant safetystandards.
Specification Monitoring:
Investigate and report onpotential monitoring bypasses; develop mitigations, testmitigations to reduce OOS manufacture of goods. 3. Key DeliverablesReviewed and approved TwinCAT PLC code (documented, versioncontrolled). Investigation reports and recommendations. Test plansand reports. Updated system documentation suitable for regulatedenvironment. Regular progress updates; final summary report. 4.
Engineer Profile and Responsibilities Required:
Proven expertise inBeckhoff TwinCAT, Ether
CAT, PLC
safety systems, and industrialautomation. Strong experience in medically regulated/cGMPenvironments.
Responsibilities:
Perform tasks under Scope of Work,adhere to Client’s site/quality protocols, maintain clearcommunication.
