Job Description:

The Position The Electrical Engineer 1 is a member of theengineering department. This position will report directly to theSenior Electrical Engineering Manager. This position requiresexperience in AutoCAD or similar Electrical CAD programs inaddition to experience with commissioning (Debug) of equipment. JobDescription Primary Responsibilities Design new products orre-design existing products without supervision for schematics,control cabinets, layouts, etc. Some software skills with PLCs area plus. Utilize the most current design techniques and toolsDesigns and BOM’s must be accurate Design projects must be done ina timely manner Designs must be in compliance with all safetyrequirements Design within the specifications for the product beingmindful of cost, manufacturability, reliability and servicerequirements Perform commissioning and debug of products Able toenergize machine safely and competently, ready for “wet test” andSAT Assure product is “as designed” Review/approve all applicablerequests for change Assure proper documentation has been recordedAssure product meets specifications Maintain a working knowledge ofmachine process and operation Work in a team environment Lead teammeetings, design reviews, machine reviews, kick-off meetingsInteract with other departments, including Manufacturing, TSS,Sales and Purchasing Contribute to Risk Assessment sessions. JobRequirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineeringor 10 years as technician / designer. Skills & Relevant WorkExperience Knowledgeable in PLC’s, AC and DC drives, motioncontrols and operator interface units. Must be able to create alldocumentation required for assembly. Computer skills must beexcellent.
