We are seeking candidates that have Commissioning and/or Controls experience. This is a fully remote position where candidates have the ability to travel. We are seeking candidates specifically who reside in the greater Miami area or have the ability to relocate to the area. We offer ample opportunities for professional growth, as evidenced by industry-low turnover . Responsibilities Assist with commissioning and retro-commissioning projects. Assist with the preparation of templates, documentation, and calculations for testing of systems. Assist with functional testing of complex engineered systems. Assist with analyzing testing results and evaluate proper and optimized operations of complex engineered systems. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities A desire to develop knowledge, skills and abilities in the trade, and advance in a career in the commissioning industry. Ability to travel 15-20% of time. Prioritizes effectively, have good follow-through, and practice self-implemented quality control measures. Ability to communicate well in writing, as well as verbally. Desire to attain Cx, controls and/or TAB certifications. Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred or have related technical field experience. Two to Three (2-3) years’ experience in commissioning large commercial projects and/or controls. Cx, controls and/or TAB certifications is a plus. EIT is a plus. General understanding of HVAC and electrical engineering system concepts and associated controls systems.
