Our client, a pioneer in next-generation aviation technology, is seeking a Controls Process Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Process Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering department supporting the transition of advanced powertrain manufacturing operations to a new eVTOL production facility. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, technical depth in automation/controls, and excellent collaboration skills which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
Design and implement automation and controls for battery, stator, and eMotor manufacturing operations.
Define PLC architecture and IT interfaces; support installation and validation of robotics and control equipment.
Ensure operational readiness of automated equipment and control systems to support volume and capacity needs.
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers on controls specifications and machine interface planning.
Utilize issue resolution tools (PDCA, 5 Whys) to drive continuous improvement and manage launch readiness.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
3-5 years of experience in powertrain manufacturing, process, or quality engineering.
Hands-on experience with PLC and controls systems (robotics, automation, etc.).
Proficiency in Siemens or
CATIA COA
software and MS Office Suite.
Strong teamwork, project management, and communication skills; must be able to work independently.
