Job Description:

Electrical Engineer $110K – $125K SUMMARY Under generalsupervision, responsible to design, develop and test electricalequipment, components, circuits or systems. Applies mathematicaland engineering principles and methods to designs. Performsextensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability,performance and safety standards are achieved. Conduct research andstudies new technologies to innovate and design solutions orproducts. Helps to develop all aspects of electrical controlsystems for equipment and machinery. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND/ORPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

include the following. Other duties maybe assigned. Design electrical control systems. Design, install,maintain and modify PLC systems. Understand and be able to installand troubleshoot AC/DC drives and motors, as well as work withrelays, contacts, transformers, motor starters, sensors, switches,etc. Provide technical support, hardware and software changes ofPLC-based equipment. Assist manufacturing engineering departmentand field service employees with equipment issues. Support facilitysafety programs. Assist in start-up of new technology systems andcontinuous improvement and modernization efforts of older systems.

Contribute to cost-savings ideas and efforts. Assists with projectreviews including, but not limited to, quotes, job specifications,standard and non-standard material requirements, design logic, etc.

As appropriate and necessary, ensures corporate programs, i.e.

EH&S, ISO, JSOX, C-TPAT, ITAR, Compliance, etc. are supportedand adhered to.

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in electrical engineering or technicaldegree and 4-7 years’ related industry experience and electricalcontrol systems; or equivalent combination of education andexperience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices andprocedures within a particular field.

Must possess:

strongelectrical troubleshooting skills, project management experience,excellent communications skills, able to work independently and aspart of a team. Up to 25% domestic or international travel, asnecessary.
