Our client is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer – Senior. This job will have the following responsibilities: Translate project and system requirements into well-defined hardware architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Design and complete instruments, including microprocessors, power, and analog components. Innovatively solve issues, drive project completion to schedule, and work collaboratively with other technical contributors. Coordinate design efforts with software engineering for proper integration. Drive solutions to complex problems with limited direction, contribute to requirements development, propose ways forward, and adapt to changes in requirements. Independently perform complex electronic architectures and designs. Provide insight and suggest design modifications based on simulation results. Supervise other engineers assigned to a particular project.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering 5+ years of electrical design experience Experience with PLC/HMI is a plus Phase power and power bridges experience preferred Experience with excitation systems is required Client does offer an extensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, FSA, Paid Time off, STD, LTD, 401k and Tuition Reimbursement.
