Skills and Requirements Daily Responsibilities Troubleshoot real-time hardware errors on test benches and sub-assemblies: Investigate electrical faults by tracing signal paths. Break out Syslicote (diagnostic equipment) to identify root causes of signal failures or misrouting. Visually inspect physical connectors and ensure proper install/fitment; evaluate for bent pins, loose crimps, or EMI shielding failures. Design and maintain complex test benches for avionics and embedded electrical systems: Assemble test rigs using off-the-shelf components, embedded PCs, network switches, PDU panels, and custom light switch arrays. Monitor input/output signal integrity and confirm data flow between devices (PC to panel to switch).

Develop electrical design schematics:

Create and update wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and system schematics using Microsoft Visio (moving towards Siemens Capital ) Integrate avionics system design into server rack-like assemblies Test and validate electrical subsystems Track signal paths across multiple aircraft configurations.
