We offer a variety of trainings to ensure you can develop in your career. location_on Durham, NC On-Site trip_origin Freudenberg Performance Materials LP (USA) You support our team as Controls and Automation Engineer Responsibilities Lead electrical group in troubleshooting and RCA for evaluating electrical conditions to resolve and preventively eliminate concerns and failures Provide justification and support project managers to execute upgrades to equipment Support a lean manufacturing culture with the proper use of PDCA cycles in engineering changes, and communicate well with stakeholders on status Participate in rotating on-call support for 24/7 operations Ensure company safety requirements are correctly identified and addressed in risk assessment, performance levels, and PPE selection for electrical hazards Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD and/or Inventor software Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering 3+ years of experience as an electrical engineer within a production or manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and PLCs Working knowledge of industrial automation and coordinated machinery The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
