Electrical Engineer

Organization Overview:

The Electrical Engineer role is responsible for sitewide electrical power distribution, system performance monitoring, and continuous improvement projects as related to electrical power distribution. The electrical engineer role will report to the Facilities Engineering team.

Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe working environment by following safety rules and helping improve the safety culture Work in a cross functional team of safety, maintenance, engineering, and electricians Owner for the RTP site electrical distribution system and metering Deviation Investigator and Change Control owner Create and revise preventative maintenance procedures as applicable Provide reports to leadership of KPIs Interface with utility providers and external contractors as required

Basic Requirements:

At least 4 year’s experience in electrical engineering Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline

Additional Skills/Preferences:

Relevant experience operating in an FDA regulated environment Experience with deviation and change management systems including TrackWise Strong problem solving skills Good interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Strong computer skills in a variety of software packages (SAP, Excel, etc.), previous experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (i.e. MAXIMO).

Ability to work 8 hour days – Monday through Friday Ability to work overtime and during holiday shutdowns as required

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$64,500 – $112,200
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
