Electrical Engineer Position Available In Guilford, North Carolina

Job Description We are seeking a skilled electrical engineer technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, supporting equipment installation, and ensuring optimal performance of production machinery. Responsibilities + Perform maintenance and debugging of equipment in a manufacturing environment. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems. + Program, read, write, and modify logic in PLCs. + Configure and troubleshoot Servo Motion Controllers. + Work with relay logic, including wiring and diagnostics. + Program and troubleshoot robotic systems. + Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems using schematics. + Support production during overtime, holidays, weekends, and plant shutdowns. + Travel domestically and internationally up to 30% as required. Essential Skills + Proven experience in industrial maintenance or equipment installation/debugging. + Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems in manufacturing. + Proficiency in PLC programming and logic modification. + Experience with Servo Motion Controllers. + Skills in relay logic and troubleshooting. + Knowledge of robotic systems programming and troubleshooting. + Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems using schematics. + Flexibility to work extended hours and travel as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Technical associate degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent experience. + Experience with pre-production setup. + Familiarity with standardized work (STW) and job instruction sheets (JIS). + Experience in gathering and analyzing quality data from multiple sources. + Experience with new plant or facility startups. + Exposure to high-volume production in clean room environments. Work Environment The position requires flexibility to work extended hours during production peaks, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and plant shutdowns. The role involves domestic and international travel up to 30% of the time. The work environment includes exposure to manufacturing technologies such as PLCs, Servo Motion Controllers, and robotics, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic system Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 – $58.00/hr.
