Job Description

job summary: An Electrical/I&C Engineer is needed in North Carolina by a respected construction firm. Candidates should have a BS Engineering degree at least 3 years of experience in the design of control systems for power plants or heavy industrial facilities. Will need experience with evaluating pressure, temperature, flow, and level process instrumentation. Relocation, salary, bonus potential, benefits and 401k.

Charlotte, North Carolina job type: Permanent salary: $120,000 – 140,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Engineering for operating plants in the U.S. including preparation of Engineering Change Packages including plant digital upgrades. Work includes preparation of packages that include specifications and data sheets, calculations, and modifications to existing plant drawings; provide support to proposals, prepare purchase requisitions, and review of vendor drawings. Designs for New Generation Nuclear plants including Small Modular Reactors (SMR), including support for the development of conceptual design and related design basis documents to support licensing of new nuclear generating plants, preparation of specifications and bid packages for control systems, and detailed I&C design for new generating plants. Candidate will support multiple projects and will support coordination of activities with clients, contractors, vendors and other members of the project teams.
