Controls Engineer Position Available In Nash, North Carolina

Job Title:

Controls EngineerJob Description We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to assist with machining area and production line work orders, as well as manage project-based work within the plant. This role involves supporting the maintenance team, troubleshooting electrical issues, and understanding root causes of major downtime events. Responsibilities + Assist with machining area and production line work orders. + Provide support to the maintenance team as needed. + Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine root causes of major downtime. + Engage in project support, addressing maintenance and quality issues. + Support large projects such as flex machining or line maintenance. Essential Skills + Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs. + Ability to read electrical prints. + Knowledge of basic electrical panel troubleshooting processes, including safety and technical aspects. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with robot controllers. + Awareness of various communication protocols such as DeviceNet, Ethernet, ControlNet, etc. + Experience with Siemens PLCs. Work Environment This role requires onsite work in a Tier 1 facility with opportunities for overtime, including Saturdays. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 – $55.00/hr.
