The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and developing electrical designs and applications to meet project specifications and standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that comply with relevant codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities Develop electrical designs and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical software.
Conduct application engineering to ensure product functionality and compliance with UL, NEMA, and CE codes.
Design and implement control systems including PLC and HMI configurations.
Work on servo and AC/DC motor applications, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Oversee electrical power distribution systems for various projects and applications.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure designs meet customer requirements and project timelines.
Perform testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
Experience designing electrical and industrial control panels Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and other design software.
Knowledge of UL, NEMA, and CE codes and standards.
Experience with PLC and HMI systems.
Familiarity with servo motors and AC/DC power systems.
