About the Role My client, a leading engineering and constructionfirm, is seeking a Senior Professional Electrical Engineer  tosupport design and construction projects across a range of criticalinfrastructure sectors. This is a full-time, regular position based inLatham, NY, with no relocation support provided. ResponsibilitiesDesign complex electrical systems including electric master systemplans, power systems, generation models, facility power systems,and renewable energy systems. Conduct electrical studies andcalculations including lighting simulations, power system analysis,communications, fire alarm, and security systems. Develop technicaldocumentation and white papers to contribute to internal technicalknowledge sharing. Conduct field reviews to validate designassumptions and requirements. Collaborate with business developmentteams to support proposals and client engagements. Represent thefirm at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility.

Mentor junior staff, providing technical oversight and developmentsupport. May oversee project work by less experienced engineers.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ElectronicEngineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license. Minimum of 5Â years of relevantexperience (additional experience may substitute for formaleducation). Willingness to travel domestically and/orinternationally depending on project requirements. PreferredQualifications Prior experience designing power systems in water,wastewater, industrial, federal, or transit sectors. Proficiency inmedium and low-voltage power distribution design. Familiarity withNEC, NFPA, NESC, IEEE, UFC, and other relevant standards. Skilledin power system analysis software such as SKM Power Tools and ETAP.Key Skills Advanced knowledge of CAD (3D and 4D). Strongengineering design principles. Proficient with Microsoft Officetools. Excellent communication skills. Thorough understanding offederal, state, and local regulations.
