PRIMARYPURPOSE OF POSITION

Performs advanced technical/engineering problemsolving in support of nuclear plant operations. Responsible fortechnical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functionaldiscipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledgeof applicable industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES ANDACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop,manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.

Provide technical expertise and consultation through directinvolvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.

Provide complete task management of engineering issues. Performengineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineeringprinciples. Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, andtimeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management andassuring that standard design criteria, practices, procedures andcodes are used in preparation of plans and specifications. Performindependent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support oftechnical projects and programs. Recommend equipment, new conceptsand techniques to improve performance, simplify construction,reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply withchanges in codes or regulations.

for Mid-level E02 Engineer B.S. in Engineering and 2years Nuclear or related engineering experience

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS

for Senior E03 Engineer B.S. in Engineering orLicensed Professional Engineer and 5 years engineering experienceProfessional Engineer Registration Advanced technical degree orrelated coursework
