Job Description

Electrical Engineer Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has an immediate 3-6 contract-to-hire opportunity in Canonsburg, PA for a Jr-Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to analyze and design of AC-DC and DC-DC power systems and power control. The position is 100% Onsite in Canonsburg, PA. Day to

Day Responsibilities:
  • Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware
  • Verifying designs / redesigns
  • HW debugging and verification
  • Work with test equipment
  • Schematic capture and updates
  • Other EE tasks as needed.
  • Drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
  • Research & Development experience including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing
  • Stay ahead of technology trends, with background in test, troubleshooting, and development of circuit card schematics Required Skills
  • Must be US Citizen due to government requirement
  • Must be able and willing to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Requires a Bachelor-s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master’s degree.
  • Proficient using electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
  • Experience in application of electrical engineering processes, concepts, principles, and theories
  • Creative thinker committed to staying ahead of technology trends, with strong background in test and troubleshooting

  • Multilayer PCB design
  • experience with CADENCE, Mentor Graphics (any PCB design tool)
  • Working with test equipment, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.
  • Safety significant circuits
  • Automotive, Medical, Defense experience desired
