Job Description
Role Responsibilities Promotes and upholds a culture of electrical safety and compliance across all work environments. Leads and contributes to multidisciplinary project teams, with a primary focus on electrical engineering scope—driving the design, execution, and implementation of projects aligned with site and business objectives. Directs and supports reliability initiatives targeting electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair of power distribution networks up to 34.5 kV. Provides daily technical oversight of electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance through continuous monitoring and diagnostics. Identifies and implements cost-effective solutions to enhance electrical system reliability, safety, and environmental compliance. Serves as a subject matter expert in electrical engineering, offering technical consultation and field support to operations, maintenance, and engineering teams. Designs and executes electrical engineering solutions for small-scale projects, including PLC programming, motor control systems, and instrumentation integration. Manages external engineering contractors on large-scale electrical and control system projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with specifications. Ensures all electrical engineering work adheres to corporate standards, industry codes (e.g., NEC, IEEE), and regulatory requirements. Delivers specialized training to field personnel on electrical systems, safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques. Maintains and updates electrical documentation, including single-line diagrams, schematics, equipment datasheets, and maintenance records. Continuously evaluates and improves electrical and control system designs to increase plant availability, efficiency, and resilience.
