Job Description
Role Responsibilities Leads or collaborates within cross-functional project teams, taking ownership of the development, execution, and implementation of initiatives aligned with site and business strategic goals—primarily focused on instrumentation and electrical (I&E) scopes. Drives reliability improvement initiatives and provides expert guidance on the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment and power distribution systems (up to 34.5 kV). Delivers timely technical support in instrumentation and electrical systems through proactive monitoring of daily unit operations. Identifies and implements opportunities to reduce costs, enhance reliability, and improve safety and environmental performance. Offers technical expertise and consultation to engineering and field teams, including hands-on troubleshooting support when necessary. Designs and executes I&E engineering solutions and PLC programming for small-scale projects. Oversees engineering contractors and ensures quality deliverables on large-scale I&E control projects. Ensures strict adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Conducts specialized technical training sessions for field personnel as needed. Maintains accurate and up-to-date I&E documentation, including drawings, datasheets, databases, and equipment records. Continuously seeks improvements in instrumentation and control system design to enhance performance and maximize plant availability.
