Electrical Engineering Technologist Position Available In Florence, South Carolina

Electrical Engineering Technologist wanted by Nan Ya Plastics Corporation, America in Lake City, South Carolina,with BachelorsDegree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Qualified candidates must have knowledge ofprogrammable logic controllers, National Electrical Code standards, electronic circuit analysis and trouble-shooting,software instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting, electronic system design, robot operations and maintenance, control strategy design and application,system integration, hardware design and analysis.

Job duties to be performed

• Provide technical problem-solving support in manufacturing production with emphasis on electronic technologies; Investigate electrical system performance or reliability problems
• Oversee the maintenance of electrical equipment within the Poly, Spinning, and Fiber areas to ensure operational efficacy and adherence to safety protocols and the National Electrical Code standards
• Perform complex troubleshooting tasks related to industrial electrical and electronic systems including, robotic systems, PLCs, controllers, motors, and HMIs, utilizing advanced technical knowledge in electronics technology and electronic circuit analysis to identify and resolve issues effectively
• Provide full life cycle support of control systems in the manufacturing production plant, including developing requirements, programming support, commissioning, and ongoing hardware and software maintenance, from the control room to the field instrumentation
• Work with maintenance to develop data driven reliability improvement opportunities, as well as troubleshoot electrical and electronic system hardware, resolve software malfunctions, and assist in system improvements and software upgrades
• Support upgrade projects to replace existing control systems including identifying system hardware and software architecture improvement opportunities
• F acilitate seamless integration of new equipment with the existing systems and update any obsolete equipment as necessary
• Proactively manage controls production environment and take preventative actions to avoid business impacting incidents
• Optimize electrical component selection to achieve cost targets and machine performance
• Ensure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished
• product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes
