Siemens, in Roebuck, SC is a growing facility that has over 800 employees. We produce high-quality, engineered, and make -to-order power distribution equipment. We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer Supervisor . In this role you will lead, develop and motivate the Switchboard & Lighting Panel Solution Engineering Team to effectively achieve the targets set. A successful candidate must be self-driven to improve the overall productivity and quality of work completed by the team. You’ll make an impact by the following: Responsibilities Manage different work processes according to procedures and agreed service and quality level and analyze, evaluate and resolve upcoming operational and/or procedural issues. Responsible for the plan & growth of the team to meet company goals. Provide effective coaching & technical guidance to the team. Monitor Engineering releases to ensure customer delivery dates can be achieved. Manage entry of non-conformances due to Engineering errors, complete root-cause analysis and drive the implementation of effective solutions to prevent reoccurrence. Manage continuous improvement activities including projects to drive improvements and/or reduce costs. Ensure adherence to defined UL guidelines, processes and procedures, for the Engineering Team. Coordinate day-to-day Engineering activities performed by a team of professionals and technicians and controls execution according to the organizational guidelines. Primarily intra-organizational contacts and limited external contacts. Work with assembly & fabrication associates to address any issues or questions. You’ll win us over by: Basic Qualifications Electrical Engineering Degree preferred or other degree with related industry experience considered Working knowledge of manufacturing systems including routings, bill of materials, etc. Must be a working Supervisor to ensure all commitments are met. Minimal travel required Preferred Qualifications ProE/Creo & SAP knowledge a plus, but not required. Switchboard & Lighting Panels (or similar products) application or design experience a plus, but not required Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
