Job Description:

Maintenance Reliability Engineer General Summary:

The purpose ofthis position is to provide engineering support for the MaintenanceDepartment.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or relatedtechnical field. Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word,Auto Cad and Project.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or projectengineering in an industrial manufacturing environmentpreferred. Previous paper mill experience (such as at least one semesteras a co-op) Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems. Process Control Certification Knowledge-Skills-Abilities Identifies and recommends solutions for correction ofrepetitive problems/failures. Serves as relief supervisor/foreman for vacations and absencesand as call duty supervisor. Analyzes repair history and costs and makes recommendations forequipment repair or replacement. Initiates repair work orders based on analysis of inspectionrecords and reports. Advises maintenance supervisors and planners on repairtechniques and procedures. Manages smaller capital installation and repair projects. Assists mechanical maintenance superintendents in preparationof repair and capital budgets and annual outage plans. Must be able to work well under pressure and within timeconstraints, multi-task, and build sound relationships with bothinternal and external customers. Must exhibit excellent communication, analytical,organizational and computer skills. Must be capable of independently making sound decisions throughcreative problem-solving. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
