Memphis, TN Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for automated processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming and experience working with various automation technologies. This role is crucial for optimizing production efficiency and ensuring the reliability of automated systems. Key Responsibilities Design and develop control systems for automated machinery and processes.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure optimal performance of control systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control solutions into existing systems.
Conduct tests and validation of control systems to verify functionality and performance.
Maintain documentation of control systems and updates to programming as necessary.
Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance of control systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Proven experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Siemens automation equipment is a plus.
Understanding of networking principles and industrial communication protocols.
Experience with electrical panels and control system design.
