We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineerto join our dynamic construction team. As an Electrical Engineer,you will be working on a variety of construction projects,designing and implementing complex electrical systems. This is afull-time, permanent position that offers an exciting opportunityfor career growth and development in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and supervise the installationof electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial orresidential construction projects. Conduct detailed calculations tocompute and establish manufacturing, construction or installationstandards or specifications. Prepare and study technical drawings,specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps toensure that installation and operations conform to standards andcustomer requirements. Plan layout of electric power generatingplants and distribution lines and stations. Use computer-assistedengineering and design software and equipment to performengineering tasks. Collaborate with other engineers andconstruction personnel to ensure project completion by thespecified deadline. Inspect installations and observe operations toensure compliance with design and equipment specifications andsafety standards. Oversee project production efforts to assureprojects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.

Monitor and resolve various electrical engineering issues andproblems during the project.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree inElectrical Engineering or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5years of experience in Electrical Engineering, within theconstruction industry. Proficient in Revit. Understanding ofelectrical engineering codes and safety standards. Problem-solvingabilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong organization and project management skills. Ability to workon multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based onproject needs. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems design andthe ability to design systems for commercial and residentialbuildings. Basic understanding of mechanical systems and theirinteraction with electrical systems. Professional Engineering (PE)certification is preferred. Interested in hearing more?
