DESCRIPTION
To create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge in accordance with each pupil’s ability; and to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members (Job Description 10:03).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a Short-Term Certificate in Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology or an equivalent qualification. OR Minimum of three years of wage-earning experience in the related Career Technical Field. OR Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in a Science or Math related area. Minimum of four years teaching experience. Preference given to applicants with one or more of the following certifications: Electronics Technician Association (ETA) CETa Certificaiton NCCER Core MSSC Safety Certificate or more Previous High School Teaching Experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and maintain an active CTSO – SkillsUSA Chapter. Maintain a current Advisory Committee involved in business and industry. Teach the ALSDE and ACCS curriculums to prepare students to be College and Career Ready.

CONTRACT LENGTH
Effective for the 2024-2025 school year.
