- Support in the logistics, sustainment and maintenance support to the Army Aviation Rapid Deployment Program (AARDEP).
- Seeking a technical expert in Test Program Sets (TPS), built-in-test equipment (BIT/BITE) being able to perform analyses, development, evaluation, updates, prototyping, fielding, and specialized maintenance support in all phases of system life cycle.
- Ability to work independently while providing remote and on-site troubleshooting and system repair.
- Highly technical and specialized maintenance on the Army’s legacy Base Shop Test Facility and associated TPS, various Automated Test Equipment, Line Replaceable Units, and Shop Replaceable Units with limited supervision.
- Provide operator training for all customers on Army Automated Test Equipment and associated TPSs.
- May perform specialized maintenance on ATE, TPSs, ATE/TPS Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs), and
BIT/BITE.
- Provide overall maintenance support for these systems, to include all levels of maintenance for both field and sustainment.
- Constructing components, subunits, or simple models per approved Government technical data and instructions, or adapts standard equipment;
- Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions.
- Conducts various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments to be used in measurement, selecting, preparing, and operating standard and non-standard test equipment and records test data.
- Extracts and complies a variety of technical data from field notes, manuals, lab reports, etc.,
- Processes data, identifies errors or inconsistencies, and selects methods of data presentation.
- Ability to supervise subordinates to include perform assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed.
- Monitor and provide guidance on conducting tests or experiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments to be used in measurement, selecting, preparing, and operating standard and non-standard test equipment and records test data.
