- Responsibilities
- + Provide senior technical and engineering expertise in support of the design, development, integration, and sustainment of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and associated support systems.
+ Lead and oversee the implementation of a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) and ensure alignment with digital engineering best practices across the UAS lifecycle. + Analyze and evaluate engineering change proposals, system performance data, and technical documentation to support effective lifecycle product support and logistics. + Review and verify technical data, digital system models, and provisioning records for accuracy and compliance with program objectives. + Lead cross-functional teams and contribute to engineering investigations, sustainment strategies, and design reviews to support program readiness and capability improvements. + Provide technical support for mission-critical IT infrastructure, cyber resilience, information assurance, and system security compliance. + Drive the development, validation, and enhancement of training systems and courseware for UAS operators and maintainers, ensuring instructional materials meet operational requirements. + Coordinate with stakeholders and government personnel to manage the development and use of technical data, supportability analyses, training devices, and engineering documentation. + Participate in and support validation events, IPTs, logistics demonstrations, and acceptance testing to ensure systems meet required specifications and performance goals. + Mentor junior engineers and scientists, guiding the execution of complex tasks and contributing to workforce development across the program team. + Adhere to the company’s AS9100 policies, procedures and guidelines. + Other duties as assigned.
