Are you a graduate or junior Embedded Software Engineer looking to join a market leading company who offer excellent hands on training and structured progression?
This company research, design, test and manufacture complex and bespoke electrical systems for customers in a range of industries. Due to the continual growth and demand for their products they are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
In this role you’ll work closely with senior engineers to design and implement software for electric propulsion systems, power conversion products, and auxiliary equipment. Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop and refine control algorithms, while ensuring seamless integration of wired and wireless communication protocols. Lastly you will support reliability and performance by maintaining existing code and resolving field issues.

The Role:
- Develop software for power conversion products and electric propulsion systems
- Work closely with hardware engineers to develop control algorithms
- Implement wired and wireless communication protocols
The Person:
- Embedded software experience with C
- Experience with development and debugging tools
- JTAG, ICE, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc
- The ability to work with high voltage, high current systems
- Bare metal programming on microcontrollers
