Technical Excellence Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As a team member for resolving technical issues, you will find yourself working in an ambitious and rewarding position working closely with Region Service Units, Engineering and our customers. This position also involves significant internal collaboration across organizations such as product management, engineering, field service, repair, supply management, & LTP to name a few. The Technical Issues team member will support multiple technical issues – from identification to implementation and field follow. There is also an opportunity to grow into the leadership role with more experience in managing issues. This position is to manage issues & findings on advanced frames with special focus on 9000HL. A typical day might look like this: Drive issue resolution on findings
Lead/ Support RCA’s
Develop mitigations and technical game plan on issues and findings in collaboration with engineering
Develop implementation planning and drive implementation of hardware improvements and modifications
Partner with regions service units and help with service planning for the units (FS, parts, repair, etc..)
Help with communication of the latest status & developments with region service units
Interacting with team members or partner organizations like LTP, or engineering on issue related discussion
Participating in meetings with internal teams or customers How You’ll Make an Impact Be a team member of technical issue resolution – RCA, mitigation & solution, stocking, implementation, communication
Reduce NCC’s and help improve financials
Significantly improve customer satisfaction
Technical presentations to the customers on different issues What You Bring Bachelors degree in Engineering or related; 2-5 years’ experience is desired
Proficiency in technical writing and conducting formal presentations for Gas Turbine technology or Power industry.
Perform well under pressure and meet deadlines on time.
Teamwork skills: Confident in leading an expert team across multiple time zones with diverse cultures to answer technical questions and to perform risk assessments. Intercultural experience/sensitivity.
Networking skills: Ability to establish relationships and build networks in a distributed team setup and collaborate with groups across the global organization!
