We are Lockheed Martin You will be a Project Engineer on the Air Mobility Maritime Missions (AMMM) Sustainment Team. What You Will Be Doing As the Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a portfolio of effort consisting of complex system/technical development from concept, through design, implementation, test, manufacturing/deployment, sustainment and modifications.
  • Ensure alignment with Engineering and Technology strategy, technical feasibility, and manages technical risk.
  • Drive planning and execution across all Engineering Teams to meet contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements and satisfy customer needs.
  • Act as single voice and point of contact to program management and senior leadership on program execution.
  • Develop innovative and scalable standardized processes to maintain agility and flexibility.
  • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred or a Technical degree with significant experience in aircraft maintenance and/or sustainment
  • Experience in design, troubleshooting and/or repair of aircraft systems or structure
  • Project management experience
Desired Skills:
  • Software, Avionics, or Aircraft experience
  • EVMS or Cost/Schedule Principles experience
  • Proposal Development experience
  • Experience with contract Language
  • Technical Supplier/Sub-Contract Management and Integration experience
  • Experience coordinating across a broad range of stakeholders
  • Risk/Opportunity Identification experience
  • Team Player.
  • Strong Work Ethic
Excellent Communication Skills Security Clearance Statement:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
