Electrical Products R D team is working on next generation power distribution and protection products. Join our team as we build together technologies to deliver power safely and efficiently to a variety of applications. We are seeking an Electronic Test Engineer, Embedded Systems in Peachtree Corners GA. You’ll make a difference by:
Testing & Validation:
Define and implement reliability test plans for components and systems Perform failure analysis and implement corrective/preventative actions Commission and deploy functional test systems for high-volume production Validate products in laboratory environment
Test Systems Development:
Define and develop test systems hardware and software Create GUI-driven software/hardware control systems Design and implement data acquisition systems Interface with various sensors and actuators
Data Management & Analysis:
Acquire, analyze, and evaluate test data Document test results and system requirements Develop technical drawings and specifications
Multi-functional Collaboration:
Work with hardware and software teams for integrated system development Coordinate with vendors for equipment evaluation and selection Support test equipment upgrades and improvements
Technical Infrastructure:
Implement automation software for test control systems Integrate electro-mechanical device assemblies Manage laboratory and manufacturing test environments Configure measurement and control equipment You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; OR Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience with the minim requirements. 5+ years of experience with the following:
Electronic Hardware & Systems:
extensive experience in embedded systems test development, hardware/software integration of large systems, and custom electronic test equipment development including system architecture and design
Testing & Verification:
skilled in reliability testing, development testing in electrical engineering, requirement verification and validation, and test systems compliance verification
Measurement & Instrumentation:
proficient in measurement techniques, data sampling, and automation of lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, waveform generators, and logic analyzers
Communication Protocols:
authoritative knowledge of IOT protocols (Bluetooth, Zigbee, Wi-Fi) and protocols for lab equipment automation and control
Firmware & Software:
experienced in firmware testing, with strong background in programming and automation software
Certification & Standards:
thorough knowledge of UL certification processes and standards (UL 1699, 1008, 943, 489i or similar)
Power Distribution Industry:

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
