Controls Engineer Job Description This role involves Level 1 commissioning at various customer sites throughout the East Coast. You will perform remote I/O checks, set up IP addresses for VFDs, verify device communications to PLCs, and perform basic edits to PLCs. Responsibilities Conduct Level 1 commissioning in the field at different customer sites. Perform remote I/O checks. Set up IP addresses for VFDs. Verify device communications to PLCs. Perform basic edits to PLCs. Essential Skills Experience with Rockwell PLCs. Field service expertise. Proficiency in commissioning processes. Knowledge of VFD and PLC systems. Ability to verify device communications. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Experience with conveyer systems and HMI. Familiarity with automation technologies. Work Environment This is a travel-intensive role with a schedule of 10 days on and 4 days off. You will work in the field at customer sites throughout the East Coast. Meetings are conducted using MS Teams.
