Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other dutiesmay be assigned. Completing planned maintenance on CT and MRIequipment at customer sites.

• Responds by telephone to customers totheir service requests.
• Completing emergency service on equipmentat customer sites. The candidate must be able to correctlytroubleshoot 50% of assigned service calls without technicalassistance.
• Documents service and planned maintenance in writtenservice reports.
• Deinstalling equipment from medical facilities.
• Installing equipment in medical facilities.
• Staging equipment atNIS facility.
• Testing and repairing equipment defects at NISfacility.
• Performance testing and final QA of equipment prior tofield installation at NIS facility.
• Repairing and testing parts atNIS facility.
• Documents parts repairs and service work withwritten service reports with quality that can be given to acustomer to read.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Travel:

This position requires both plannedand unplanned travel. Travel can be both day trips and overnight.

Most travel is done via automobile but the candidate must be ableto travel via airplane as well. On average the overnight travelwill be 5-nights per month. The candidate must have a reliablevehicle that they can use for short trips and must be able to drivethe company vehicles for longer trips. All personal vehicle mileageaccrued during travel is to be reimbursed by the company.

LanguageAbility:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safetyrules, operating and maintenance instructions, and proceduremanuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers oremployees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculatefigures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Abilityto apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry outinstructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Abilityto deal with problems involving several concrete variables instandardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual should have knowledge of wordprocessing software, internet software, and contact managementsystems.

Education/Experience:

An associate’s degree with relevanceto a technical position; and 5-years related experience and/ortraining in MRI and CT repair; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver’slicense

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:

Hands onelectrical and mechanical competency Aptitude to combine theirknowledge of electronics with Network Imaging Systems producttraining to understand the product line
