Join Creare’s highly accomplished engineers and technicians in Hanover, NH to apply your expertise to a variety of challenging power electronics applications. We are a product-focused engineering and production organization delivering high-power DC/DC converters and solid-state circuit breakers to the military, sending space-grade motor drives to orbit, and generating power on the sea floor. Demonstrate your ability to succeed on a variety of R D projects working in multidisciplinary teams of electrical, software, mechanical, and thermal experts.

You will:

• Develop electrical designs for AC or DC power converters, SSCBs, and motor drives.
• Support every stage of product development including proposal, requirements definition, design, analysis, build, test, integration, and customer support.
• Benefit from and contribute to mentorship and collaboration from EEs and other engineers in the group.
  Professional Requirements
• Candidate must have a BSEE or MSEE with at least 5-10 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 3-5 years of experience.
• Practical understanding of power converter topologies and ability to research and understand tradeoffs for a variety of applications
• Experience in power semiconductor selection (Si / SiC / GaN MOSFETs, Diodes), design of gate drive, design of analog and digital supporting circuits
• Experience with power converter filter design including magnetics and capacitors
• Understanding of semiconductor power dissipation and thermal design
• Knowledge of circuit board design and ability to provide detailed instructions for reliable and effective layouts
• Knowledge of control theory and ability to communicate instructions and concepts to firmware developers for robust performance
• Ability to perform and oversee qualification and production testing, including developing and executing test procedures, reporting results, and contributing to safety reviews
