We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team onsite as a Systems Service Engineer in Poestenkill, NY .
The role:
As the Systems Service Engineer, you will support development and production efforts by testing and qualifying designs from the Engineering team to ensure performance standards. The engineer is responsible for designing test apparatus and procedures to facilitate this product qualification. The engineer will participate in PCB design projects. Opportunities for software and PLC design exist. The engineer works closely with both Engineering and Service teams as a technical support and training resource. The engineer will have an in-depth understanding of product controls and design to allow them to integrate new peripherals to enhance product capability. Here are some of the responsibilities of the position: Integrates new peripherals into product line Provides technical support and training to Service Department personnel Tests and qualifies new electronic and software designs to ensure performance standards Designs and maintains functional test and QC equipment to support R D and production efforts Resolves support tickets for software and electrical designs
Requirements:
Academic/Professional Education:
Bachelor’s of Science in related field
Relevant Experience:
1-3 years of electronics, software, or system controls experience
Technical Skills/Knowledge:
Electronics design, electronics testing, PCB design, python, technical writing
