Join Our Team as an Electronics Engineer for the FBM Reentry Avionics Team, where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.
Location:
Although this position does support some teleworking ; the selected candidate will need to be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO or King of Prussia PA , and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate. We are looking for a skilled engineer in the areas of Electronics Avionics design, test & integration to help solve challenges using your electronics & test background and experience. Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
- Perform trade studies evaluating new design concepts
- Develop integrated avionics designs for battery, power distribution, avionics computers and other Avionics subsystems
- Apply electronics design and troubleshooting principles to develop new and improve existing electronics hardware
- Participate in technical reviews and audits To be effective in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s; or 3+ years of professional experience with a Master’s degree.
- While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance , thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Experience with designing, analyzing and/or testing electronics components and circuits
- Ability and desire to obtain a Top Secret clearance which requires
US Citizenship Desired Skills:
- Experience with Missile flight electronic components and/or power distribution subsystems
- Experience with a combination of design, test and systems engineering disciplines
- Previous or current Certified Product Engineer (CPE) or equivalent responsible product engineer experience
- Experience in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools
- Experience with SPICE or other electronics modeling/simulation tools
- Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated good communication with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members
- Ability to work on-site in King of Prussia, PA or Littleton, CO
- Ability to travel a few times per year
- Existing Top Secret clearance

Work Remotely:
Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 – $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
