Senior Energy Market Consultant Hitachi Energy United States, Georgia, Atlanta Jun 23, 2025 How You’ll Make an Impact Execute production cost modeling runs and develop long-term ancillary services price projections.
Lead and support consulting projects of high complexity.
Model renewable energy, energy storage, hybrid resources, electric vehicles, demand response, and distributed energy resources.
Develop energy, ancillary services, capacity, and Renewable Energy Credit (REC) price forecasts.
Design and execute complex North American electricity market scenarios.
Analyze and present regional power market trends.
Enhance strategic consulting capabilities with the renewable developer community.
Establish client contacts at senior levels and provide strategic coaching.
Provide insights for software tool improvements and roadmaps. Your Background Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant field.
Postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
Relevant industry technical certifications are desirable.
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in energy market consulting
Expertise in one or more Energy Portfolio Management (EPM) simulation model software products, such as:
Production Cost Modelling (Zonal and/or Nodal)
Integrated resource planning
Long-term electricity price forecasting
Capacity Expansion
Asset Valuation
