We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Residential Energy Auditor to conduct in-home energy assessments, identify energy efficiency opportunities, and provide recommendations for energy-saving improvements. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in homes, attics, and crawlspaces, and has a solid understanding of building science and home performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive residential energy audits in accordance with BPI or RESNET standards. Operate diagnostic tools such as blower doors, duct testers, combustion analyzers, and infrared cameras. Assess insulation levels, HVAC systems, duct leakage, infiltration, windows, lighting, and appliances. Collect and document detailed field data, including measurements, photos, and homeowner interviews. Prepare and present audit reports with prioritized recommendations for energy efficiency improvements. Educate homeowners about energy conservation strategies, utility rebates, and financing options. Ensure compliance with local, state, and utility program requirements. Work closely with internal teams and contractors to support work scopes and quality assurance. Maintain equipment, inventory, and accurate records of assessments.
