Summary:
Responsible for assessing, designing, and coordinating electric distribution projects to meet customer needs and maintain system reliability. Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to manage project timelines, technical requirements, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct feasibility assessments and schedule coordination for new construction and load additions Create and manage work requests (WRs) in WMS; assign tasks by crew type Perform load estimates, field measurements, and design analysis using tools like PoleForeman Draft and update GIS maps with accurate electrical assets, materials, and connectivity Generate construction prints and ensure proper MOT planning when needed Review financial data for accuracy and compliance (SOX standards) Inspect and assess equipment; perform troubleshooting with monitoring tools (post-training)
Work Conditions:

Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
Experience:
2+ years related work (GIS, CAD, utility operations) or 1+ year in field inspection/linework
Licenses:
Valid driver’s license; must obtain FL license within 30 days of residency
