Job Description:

The Solar Install Retention Specialist is responsible forimproving customer retention throughout the solar installationprocess by delivering proactive communication, resolving concerns,and ensuring a seamless customer experience from contract signingto system activation. This role plays a critical part inmaintaining customer satisfaction, reducing cancellations, andsupporting operational efficiency in the solar projectpipeline. Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during thesolar installation process, ensuring consistent communication andupdates. Monitor customer accounts for potential risks of cancellation ordissatisfaction, and take proactive measures to addressconcerns. Collaborate with sales, project management, and installation teamsto resolve scheduling, permitting, and technical issues that couldimpact customer retention. Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to reinforcethe value of their solar investment. Track and report on retention metrics, customer feedback, andresolution timelines to identify trends and improve processes. Escalate critical customer issues to appropriate departments andfollow through to resolution. Educate customers about installation timelines, product features,warranties, and post-installation services. Contribute to process improvements that enhance the overallcustomer experience and increase retention rates. Maintain accurate records in CRM and other tracking systems.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree inBusiness, Communications, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of customer service, account management, or retentionexperience; solar or renewable energy industry experience aplus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written andverbal. Proven ability to de-escalate issues and maintain positive customerrelationships. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solvingskills. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) andMicrosoft Office Suite.
