Our Opportunity North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Production Engineering Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan and direct the production engineering function; and provide technical support to other engineering disciplines, manufacturing, or staff functions within his or her assigned manufacturing facility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Your Priorities + Plans and directs all production engineering activities and personnel within the plant, ensuring proper and effective support of new product launches by the production engineering department. + Ensures process control systems for all production processes, and provides adequate training to the manufacturing groups to assure capability of implementing control system. + Oversees the on-time input of the BOM/routings, and ensures that production rates and machine cycle times are available for input for all new products per the established project plan. + Assists in the preparation of Process Failure Mode and Effect Analyses (PFMEA), Process Design Sheets, Process Flow Diagrams, and other Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities. + Ensures proper utilization of equipment through updating engineering standards (i.e. production rates, machine load). + Ensures the on-time delivery of all equipment necessary to support new product launches. Requirements Your Background Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, plus 8•10 years of experience in manufacturing environment—including: + 2•4 years of experience in Production/Process Engineering. + 4 years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or management position. MBA or MS in Engineering, and experience with an automotive lighting manufacturer is preferred.

Salary Range:
