IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Launched Effects (LE) Integration Engineer supporting the Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) Project Management Office (PMO) based in the Huntsville, AL area. An ideal candidate for this position must be able to work independently, often acting without direct supervision, be self-motivated, and able to build strong relationships across multiple project offices with all levels of government employees.

Education and General Experience:

A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering is desired and 10 years experience is required. Strong interpersonal skills are a must to facilitate coordination with logistics, configuration management, contracts, outside contractors/vendors, engineers, and project/program leadership.

Job Duties:

Support coordination between Future Vertical Lift Cross Functional Team (FVL CFT), Project Manager Uncrewed Aerial Systems (PM UAS), and other major aviation platforms
Provide technical input related to LE to manage prime contractor performance to meet technical requirements, develop program plans and cost/budget and schedule estimates
Act as the technical point of contact to conduct studies, perform research and analysis for LE activities to ensure that military characteristics and technical requirements of the user are
Perform as the risk managers for assigned programs by recommending preventive actions in advance of anticipated
Develop required CRP documentation, to include Statements of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statements (PWS), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), DD610,
Serve as the Technical SME for technical evaluations of contractor
Collaborate with the aircraft Prime Contractors’ program and other personnel to ensure the integration technical work tasks are identified, defined, scheduled, resourced and
Coordinate technical positions with Government airworthiness and test evaluation organizations to define and measure the program path to secure airworthiness qualification and safety confirmation of changed and new
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Minimum Requirements:

Possession of a Secret level security clearance Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance is desired.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in a technical field related to Rotary- Wing Aviation or equivalent academic experience/coursework
Knowledge of contract requirements and documents (e.g.: Statements of Work, Integrated Master Schedules) is required
Experience working on Army Aviation development programs is desired
Ability to manage development and engineering projects; work effectively with others and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to identify, develop and maintain system component requirements
