Job Description:

The Subject Matter Expert (With all-digital modeling and simulation (M&S) as a focus area of the System Requirements and Integration (SRI) Branch in the System Engineering and Integration (SEI) Division, Engineering Directorate (ENGD), STORM Project Office) will provide support to the overarching DoD 5000 acquisition process, the systems engineering process, and, develop and apply the appropriate M&S tools and techniques.

Responsibilities:

Work with the System Requirement and Integration Branch Lead and other SRI and ENGD personnel to ensure M&S activities and data products are properly vetted across functions and with the STORM Product Chief Engineers for rockets, missiles and launchers. Brief leadership on the status of M&S efforts within the Engineering Directorate and key leadership in the Product Offices. Utilize various M&S tools in the efforts to enhance digital engineering efforts in STORM Project Office. Will support coordinating and integrating with multiple functional areas in support of Modeling and Simulation execution.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 20 years of related experience or a Master’s Degree and 18 years of related experience. Must have a DoD secret clearance or higher or be able to obtain an interim clearance in a reasonable timeframe. 5 or more years of experience with Modeling and Simulation efforts on DoD products. 5 or more years of experience coordinating and integrating with multiple functional areas in support of Modeling and Simulation execution. 3 or more years of experience applying the Modeling and Simulation tools and techniques to programs/products. 5 or more years of experience dealing with system engineering activities. 5 or more years of experience supporting the activities directly related to the DoD 5000 acquisition process.
