Innovate to solve the world’s most important challengesAs an Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the engineering function within the company. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight to the engineering teams. The Engineering Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation, ensure product quality, and achieve business objectives. You will report directly to our Director of Engineering and you’ll work out of our Huntsville, AL location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering functions team, primarily Electrical EngineeringOversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectivesEnsure adherence to engineering best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirementsManage and optimize engineering resources, budgets, and timelineIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivityLead and develop a high-performing engineering teamSite leadership & support of HSEF tasks as assigned

YOU MUST
HAVEBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics3+ years managing/supervising an engineering or technical execution teamDemonstrated Leadership Experience including the ability to drive teams to common goals, empower those teams, and manage/resolve complex technical issuesAbility to create, support, and enhance specific action plansIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced by eventsAbility to convey subtle or complex messages succinctly and clearly, tailored for the topic and audienceExperience in design, fabrication, testing & validation of complex thermal management systemsProject engineering experience estimating, planning, scheduling, and implementing budget control for engineering work WE VALUEProject Engineering or Project Management BackgroundMaster of Engineering or Business Administration preferredElectrical Engineering background preferredDemonstrated communication, relationship, and team-building skills
