We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Vice President of Army Programs to lead a diverse portfolio of Army programs focused on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and growth. This role will oversee all facets of program execution, from contract performance and financial management to personnel leadership and business development. You will ensure our Army-focused programs align with mission needs, while directly supporting customer requirements. Job Requirements Key Responsibilities
- Program Execution & Contract Performance o Lead a diverse portfolio of Army contracts (prime and sub), ensuring successful technical execution, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and risk management. o Support lifecycle contract performance, including initiation, execution, transition, and closeout phases.
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement o Build and maintain strong relationships with Army stakeholders and decision-makers. o Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction and mission alignment. o Provide day-to-day support to customer requirements as part of an embedded team.
- Team Leadership & Talent Development o Manage and mentor a high-performing team of professionals with diverse skillsets to support program requirements. o Cultivate a strong internal culture focused on growth, accountability, and collaboration.
- Financial & Operational Management o Oversee contract budgets, forecasts, and P&L accountability across programs. o Ensure alignment between program execution and corporate financial goals.
- Strategic Growth o Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing programs. o Identify and support strategic capture efforts for new technologies, capabilities, or contract vehicles. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Army acquisition/operations, Government program management, or defense contracting.
- Proven track record of managing complex programs with a focus on Army customers.
- Demonstrated success in team leadership, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, program lifecycle management, and
FAR/DFARS
compliance.
- Financial management experience, such as P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Effective communicator with a reputation for building trusted relationships with Government senior leaders and stakeholders.
- U.
