We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to coordinate with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to keep projects on track.
Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
Manage project commissioning processes to ensure systems are properly installed and operational.
Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance on mechanical systems including HVAC and controls.
Prepare and evaluate RFQs and RFPs for project bidding and procurement.
Oversee retrofitting projects, ensuring compliance with safety and building standards.
Utilize project management tools and ERP systems to track progress and report on project status.
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into building projects.
Forecast project resource needs and manage team assignments effectively. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the mechanical engineering sector, preferably in HVAC and controls.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Experience with commissioning processes and project execution in construction environments.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in scheduling and budgeting for engineering projects.
Familiarity with facilities management and energy systems is a plus.
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or related fields will be an advantage.
