Basic Qualifications

Lockheed Martin is looking for a results driven Program Manager for the Common Missile Compartment (CMC) program. The program manager directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and letion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
As a Program Manager you will have the following daily key responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of projects ranging from 50M to 250M in size ensuring cost, technical and schedule milestones are met.
- Lead, deploy, instruct, recruit junior project management talent in the execution of contracted scope.
- Manage customer intimacy, unication, and overall satisfaction
- Support the development of strategic plans, roadmaps (technical, personnel, & management), and proposal efforts to cultivate new business opportunities
- Shape the program future by attracting, developing / mentoring, and retaining a cross-functional workforce while cultivating a cross functional work environment
- Provide your proven leadership to the CMC organization and will get to work with other Lockheed Martin business areas and external agencies
This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Cape Canaveral SFS, FL.

Desired skills
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
- Direct experience working on FBM program or equivalent operational weapon system program
- Existing Top Secret clearance
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with teamwork and transparency as a priority; demonstrable written unication and oral presentation skills
- Experience in driving enterprise behaviors and implementing innovation/process improvements
- Experience in developing and documenting trade studies, performing the associated analysis, and making risk based decisions on best value to the overall program/mission.

the team, delivering results, and modeling personal excellence, integrity, and accountability - Experience directing/leading a program with a demonstrated understanding of managing customer domain, mission(s) and key personnel

- Ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 – $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
