Electrical Project Manager Arbor Electric Service Inc Lauderhill, FL 33311 Benefits/Perks Competitive Compensation Career Advancement Paid Holiday Life & Disability Insurance Medical Insurance 401(k) Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee operational strategies and activities in the electrical industry. This position is key in ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability while driving operational success in all facets of electrical project management. Responsibilities Conduct pre-construction and post construction. Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design specifications, budget and Includes interfacing with client representatives, subcontractors, vendors, etc. Complete job cost breakdowns and schedule of values. Review and approve all projects. Schedule and coordinate the completion of submittal data, operation and maintenance manuals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings in accordance with the construction. Supervise trade employees and/or other subcontractors as required. Provide technical assistance, i.e., engineering, interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment, etc. Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change. Conduct on site visits/inspections as required ascertaining productivity of trades, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance. Act as a liaison between trades and other departments. Provide field employees with the necessary support to allow the project to be completed. Distribute, follow up, and respond in writing to all punch list items in a timely manner. Provide project status reports during weekly staff meetings. Attend weekly project management meetings and provide project status on those items directly related to the job. Monitor project costs and forecast future project costs. Perform additional assignments per Senior Project Manager’s direction. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of previous construction and/or engineering project management experience. Must have a minimum of eight (8) years construction management, estimating, and/or trade supervision experience in similar construction setting. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction including technology; equipment; methods; engineering; estimating; schedules and safety required. Excellent communication, organization and supervisory skills are a must.
